Summer Internship
Summer 2026, June 2nd - July 31st
Are you looking for an opportunity to gain valuable experience while making a positive impact in the world? Become an intern or a student with Converge and join us in our mission to serve the people of Philadelphia.
As an intern or a student, you will have the chance to participate in a variety of impactful projects, including helping with kids club, food distribution, and homeless outreaches. You'll work alongside experienced staff members and volunteers to learn new skills, gain valuable experience, and make a real difference in the lives of those in need.
Our kids club program provides a safe and positive environment for children to learn and grow through Biblical teaching and recreational activities. We also engage in food distribution programs to address food insecurity in the community and provide support to those in need. And our homeless outreach initiatives provide assistance and resources to individuals experiencing homelessness in the city.
By joining us as a student, you'll gain hands-on experience and have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of those in need. You'll also have the chance to build relationships with members of the community and gain a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by underserved populations.
Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to make a difference while gaining valuable experience. Contact us today to learn more about our opportunities and how you can get involved with Productive Lives.

It is expected that interns would agree with Productive Lives philosophy of ministry and faith statement.
Depending on your interest, talent, and abilities, you’ll be signed to one or more ministry for the week as well as being exposed to many different ministries.
It is understood that serving is not limited to a 9 am-5 pm schedule. As such, there will be times when plans change, and being flexible is vital to a successful internship.
Interns will have an opportunity to meet with different staff to acquire varying serving experiences and gain an overarching perspective on ministry as a whole.
Interns are expected to attend church on Sunday as well as any additional meetings required by Productive Lives.
Schedule: Tuesday through Sunday AM. Sunday afternoon and Monday will be a time off.
-
Each intern will be responsible for formulating a personal development plan that includes specific goals for the internship.
These goals should incorporate and include the spiritual growth of the individual as well as ministry-related objectives.
The specific goals of the internship must be reviewed and agreed upon by Productive Lives.
-
Housing will be provided for the length of your internship.
-
Raise and Pay. You set your own financial goal. We ask you to raise $2,500 for Productive Lives. This will cover food, housing, and ministry expenses. Any amount you raise over that, you’ll get paid back to you. We would ask you to write up a support letter.
People can give to this link and in the comment section tell them to put your name for summer internship.
